Sentinel Growth DAO

The Sentinel Growth DAO is a democratic group of dedicated members of the Sentinel community intent on upholding the highest standards of professionalism in its duties (sprinkling just the right amount of fun here and there too). We are committed to fostering growth through a system of structured and recorded governance, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. Our ranks are unified by a clear and singular mission: To grow the Sentinel network and ecosystem.

We at the DAO define that growth as expansion across a number of key metrics, including: The quality and quantity of VPNs built on the Sentinel Network, the volume of users accessing or selling data on it, and the reach of the organizations that purchase data from it. But those are just the measures of utility—in most people's minds, growth is measured best by the ability of the $P2P coin to accrue value and attain a multi-billion dollar market cap. That is something we at the Growth DAO know is both possible and eminently achievable.

Commitment to Transparency​

Many Sentinel supporters will no doubt have seen or at least heard about the video review that was uploaded by Coin Bureau to the private Coin Bureau Club Discord in December. The video was subsequently leaked and began to circulate within the Sentinel community, but has since been removed from all official channels. While it's publicly known that Guy (Mr. Coin Bureau) himself holds $P2P and obviously wants the project to succeed, at one point in the video he appeared to have some questions about what the Sentinel Growth DAO is and how it functions. The particular moniker he chose to use seemed to be primarily levied for theatrical effect, but it nonetheless inspired us to redouble our efforts at proving that the DAO is open about its operations and honest on how the funds allocated to us are spent and managed.

All of the DAO transactions are logged and categorized under expenses.

Governance Structure: A Collaborative Framework​

The Governance Structure of the Sentinel Growth DAO is designed to embody the principles of democracy and inclusivity. The DAO is governed by representatives who have shown unwavering support for Sentinel and operates on a majority consensus basis. This system ensures that decisions are made collectively and reflect the community's best interests. All actions, discussions, and voting processes are meticulously recorded; a standard we hope will foster a culture of openness and accountability.

Community Engagement​

The Sentinel Growth DAO recognizes the indispensable role Sentinel’s community and its culture play in the project, and thus allocates resources towards hosting interactive events like spaces and poker events (and more to come). Initiatives like these encourage engagement and bolster an already-robust community that actively, enthusiastically contributes to Sentinel's development and expands its reach. The DAO also ensures innovation thrives in the ecosystem by involving the community in content creation and technical discussions.

Accelerating P2P Development Through Targeted Funding​

The Sentinel Growth DAO has established a dedicated funding pool to support projects that want to enhance the Sentinel P2P framework. Those strategic investments lead to new white-labeled dVPN products, increasingly streamlined processes to create them, and greater market awareness. By prioritizing projects with the potential to expand Sentinel's reach and functionality, the DAO is laying the groundwork for a more accessible and powerful network. To date, the DAO has spent over $50,000 USD on developers to build applications and infrastructure, with much more to come.

Marketing and Partnerships: Expanding Sentinel's Reach​

Marketing and partnerships play a pivotal role in the Sentinel Growth DAO's strategy to elevate Sentinel's presence in the digital privacy space. Through content marketing, social media engagement, SEO, and influencer partnerships, the DAO aims to educate potential users and expand Sentinel’s user base. To onboard more users and GROW the network, we have launched p2p.news (where you are reading this now), a platform that will serve as a home not only for community-focused news; but also updated, polished, easy-to-follow tutorials and guides in the future as well.

Additionally, we launched a Zealy promotion, albeit with mixed results. Fostering integration partnerships with educational institutions is crucial to establishing Sentinel as a leader in the bandwidth and VPN Marketplace.

Research and Development: Securing the Future​

The Sentinel Growth DAO is actively involved in research and development to enhance the Sentinel Network's performance and security. By investing in the development of a native wallet app, improving network tools, and creating user-friendly management tools, the DAO is improving user experience as well as securing Sentinel's position in the multi-billion dollar VPN market.

Funding for Sustainable Growth​

With a community fund of approximately 270,000,000 coins (with an additional 50,000,000+ delegated to the DAO. 100,000,000 is unbonding to eventually fund more development), the Sentinel Growth DAO is well-equipped to support its ambitious initiatives. The funds will be deployed at a sustainable rate to ensure organic growth, with the ultimate objectives of helping Sentinel reach one million users in 2024 and establishing dozens of VPNs on the network. The DAO’s financial strategy underscores its commitment to making Sentinel a billion-dollar market cap project.
